We want to thank everyone who made this years Krispy Kreme Doughnut Fundraiser a success. With over $7,000.00 in doughnuts sold this was our biggest year ever. Way to go OCA!
OCA is closed today because of the severe weather forecasted for our area. Please stay safe everyone!
We are excited to announce that our 2018 Christmas Program will be held at Goodrich Theatre on the SUNY Oneonta Campus. Join us for a great night watching our students perform and celebrate the birth of our Savior.
As October is approaching, we want to make sure you are informed of some important dates for the next few months, all that have the need for volunteer support.
October 5th we will be holding a Spaghetti Dinner at the school. Your students will be sent home with a stack of tickets to sell to family members and friends very soon. We are looking for the support of some volunteers at this event to assist with setup, tear down and of course the preparation of the meal itself. November 2nd will be our annual Harvest Party and Pie Auction. This event is so much fun and we are hoping you mark your calendars now to make sure you don’t miss out on this fabulous family event. Volunteer opportunities for this event include set up, tear down, auction helpers for the pie auction and of course helping with the harvest games. We will also be seeking donations of pies and plates of baked goods for the auction itself as well as submissions for our annual chili contest. November 12th is our annual Veterans Day Breakfast. Each year we keep school open and take the opportunity to honor our local veterans with breakfast right at the school. This day begins with breakfast being served at 7am which means we need early support to cook the eggs and sausage so that it is ready to serve to those who attend. Sign up sheets for Volunteers will be in the office next week. We are so looking forward to each of these events, and we know that because of your support they will all be successes. We can’t thank you enough for how much you support the fundraising events and community outreach projects here at OCA. We could never reach our goals without you and your families! ![]() Staff Highlight Liz Cook '02, Director of Programming Liz joins us after serving on the OCCS School Board as Vice President for the past two years.
