Why do Families choose a private Christian Education?
Otsego Christian Academy provides a unique service in Otsego County as the only alternative educational option, the only private educational option, and only Christian school in the area that students seeking a non-public education can access. Additionally, we provide an individualized student experience that is unparalleled in the public school system. Most educational settings are focused on providing a quality education and ensuring competency through testing. At OCA, we are passionate about offering a high-quality education. We accomplish this goal while working individually with our students to ensure that they have identified their strengths and giftings in order to inform the decisions they make regarding their future education and career choices. We are able to know our students on a much deeper level not only because of our class size but because we are a mission directed organization with faculty and staff members that are committed to the two-fold nature of the education we provide, caring for each student academically and spiritually.
It begins with how we start our day.
At Otsego Christian Academy all our student from 3 years old to seniors in high school, begin the day with three vital activities: Praise and Worship, Prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Once we have begun our day welcoming the Lord into our presence, we start of first course of the day: Bible.
Starting at a young age students become familiar with Bible stories and memorization of scripture. As the years go by students expand on the foundational learning from elementary and move into more robust Bible Curriculum to prepare them to stand strong and defend their faith.
